Environmental awareness

We grow our products with environmental awareness. Bees pollinate our crops and we use natural enemies to control most pests. This method of pest control is not harmful to crops or the end-product and maintains a natural balance in the greenhouse.

9bScouting

The crops are inspected for possible threats each week. This weekly inspection, also known as ‘scouting’, keeps us well informed about the presence of insects and disease. This information allows us to react in an adequate and targeted way. We fight most insect pests with their natural enemies.

Recycling nutrient-rich water

An automated drip-feed system is used to supply water to the crops. The plants are fed spring water rather than tap water. Any water that is not used by the plants flows into a gutter recovery system. The water is recycled after sterilisation and filtering. This approach ensures that the excess water can be reused and that nothing is wasted.
